We offer precision laser engraving on a wide variety of materials, including wood, leather, coated tumblers, acrylic, slate, glass, and more.

Materials

You may provide your own item for engraving, or if you'd prefer, Hearth & Hollow can source the material or product for you. Whether it's a cutting board, tumbler, coaster, plaque, or another engravable item, we're happy to help find the right product for your project. The cost of any materials purchased by Hearth & Hollow will be included in your quote.

How Pricing Works

Every engraving project is unique, so pricing is based on the time required to complete the work. Factors such as the size of the design, engraving area, level of detail, material type, quantity, and any required setup all contribute to the final cost. Before work begins, we'll provide a quote so you know exactly what to expect.

One-Time Setup Fee

New engraving projects require a one-time $15 setup fee. This covers preparing your artwork, machine setup, testing, and ensuring your design is ready for production.

Once your design has been set up, we'll keep it on file. Future orders using the same artwork will not be charged the setup fee, provided no changes to the design are requested.

Customer-Supplied Materials

If you choose to provide your own material, we strongly recommend supplying one or more extra pieces of the same item whenever possible. Test engravings allow us to fine-tune our laser settings for your specific material, helping us achieve the highest-quality result while reducing the risk of imperfections on your finished piece.

Although we take every precaution to produce exceptional results, every material engraves differently. Variations in wood grain, coatings, finishes, manufacturing methods, and other material characteristics can affect the appearance of the engraving. Customer-supplied items are engraved at the customer's risk, and Hearth & Hollow cannot be held responsible for damage resulting from hidden defects, unknown finishes, or manufacturing inconsistencies.
